Dr. Amal earned his MBBS from Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Pondicherry University, in 2003, followed by an MD in Radiodiagnosis from the prestigious Annamalai University in 2007. Since then, he has amassed invaluable expertise through diverse roles in both academia and clinical practice. His journey includes serving as an Associate Professor of Radiology and Clinical Examiner for MD Radiology candidates at MES Medical College in Kerala, India. He has also held leadership roles, including as Medical Director at Imara Health Care in Doha, and has contributed significantly to advancing radiological services in every organization he has been part of.
Renowned for his technical acumen, Dr. Amal specializes in advanced imaging techniques, including 3D and 4D ultrasound, sonomammography, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Over the years, he has conducted an impressive volume of diagnostic studies, ranging from over 82,000 MRI scans and 99,000 CT scans to more than half a million ultrasound and X-ray cases. His expertise, particularly in diagnosing complex conditions, has made him a trusted name among peers and patients alike.
Dr. Amal is fluent in six languages, including English, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and Hindi, and has conversational proficiency in Arabic.
